Singer, songwriter, guitarist, performer, this 24 year old from Bathurst, N.B., Canada, is known to crowds of all ages for his energetic performances, his guitar wizardry, and his passionate lyrics - in English and French.  JP is born a "blues man" who makes his guitar scream for mercy.

2007-2008 saw JP LeBlanc moving from one great gig to the next.  In February 2007, JP performed on the popular French-Canadian television show "La Fureur", where he was introduced to the viewing audience by the renowened Louisiana singer-songwriter, Zachary Richard.

Soon after, JP was airborn to Paris, France to participate in multiple showcases for the Nuits Acadiennes.  He impressed the public so much that he came back carrying several invitations to return to French soil later in the year.

Back in Canada, on a promotional tour of his French CD, Le Blues m'emporte , he left people speechless more than once in Gaspé, the Magdelene Islands and the Festival Franco-Ontarien .

Next, he was off to the French island of St.Pierre-Miquelons where every performance was memorable.  In October, he crossed the Atlantic once more.  In France, JP played a string of showcases over a 3 week period, including a performance that had the crowd holding their breath in Roubaix (Lille), at La Condition Publique .

Barely a week after landing in New Brunswick, he was off again on a Pan Canadian tour, sponsored by the Coups de Coeurs Francophones , playing for crowds in the francophone communities across Canada.  From Vancouver to Toronto, Montreal and many cities in between, JP had folks dancing and stomping their feet.

In January 2008, he was back in school at the Université de Moncton, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in marketing.  The day after his final exam, he left for a tour of over 20 Ontario francophone schools and communities where he performed 26 shows in 22 days!!

Multiple festival goers danced to the sound of JP's unique blues during the summer of 2008, like the 400th Anniversary Celebration of the city of Québec , the Caraquet Blues Festival and the legendary Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in Fredericton, N.B., which marked an amazing 8th year performing there.

In September, JP returned to his for the final semester of his degree.
